Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required along with 10 years of relevant experience.
- An active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is mandatory prior to starting.
- Proven experience in technical leadership roles.
- Background in System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, anti-tamper, cybersecurity, or embedded security.
- Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying real-time embedded security solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) programs while adhering to secure systems technologies, methodologies, policies, and guidelines.
- Proficient in generating security requirements and creating design and architecture artifacts, plans, and/or policies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the integration of Systems Security Engineering (SSE) solutions into RTX products.
- Collaborate with customers to establish SSE requirements, solutions, assessments, costs, implementations, system impacts, and overall effectiveness.
- Aid in the formulation of plans, estimates, task execution, project monitoring, reporting, and identifying risk mitigation strategies.
- Strategize and oversee SSE implementations within customer systems.
- Provide consultation and support to program line management regarding SSE architectures and challenges.
- Engage in threat modeling and Critical Program Information assessments.
- Create high-level system requirements and cascade down requirements to subsystems.
- Validate secure configurations of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and additional assets using approved DoD scanning and assessment tools.
- Undertake Task Lead functions, including task planning, managing product ownership, and serving as scrum master.
- Ensure adherence to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls.
- Contribute to the preparation of bids and proposals.
- Understand and comply with DoD technology release and export licensing regulations.
