Requirements
Must:
- Must possess an active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory as only U.S. citizens can obtain a security clearance.
- Security Clearance Type: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics) is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience.
- Proficiency in RedHat Linux, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of the operating system.
- Programming and scripting skills in Python and Bash or similar for automation, configuration, and operational tasks.
- Must meet DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II requirements, such as holding a Security CE or equivalent certification.
- Current TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance required on day one.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the architecture, design, integration, and maintenance of platform and infrastructure setups across various stages including build, integration, testing, and production.
- Optimize these environments for performance, reliability, and scalability within cloud ecosystems.
- Employ company and industry best practices to enhance scalability, consistency, and overall efficiency while minimizing deployment time and automating configuration management tasks.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and other agile teams to create robust and scalable platform solutions.
- Integrate security and compliance protocols into the platform, incorporating services like encryption and access management.
- Provide comprehensive operational support to ensure the platforms stability, functionality, and performance.
- Acquire hands-on experience in the design, implementation, and integration of cloud-based systems on platforms such as AWS.
- Utilize automation frameworks like Terraform, Ansible, and Chef for efficient infrastructure deployment and management.
