Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with at least five years of relevant experience, unless restricted by local laws
- Proficiency in software architecture, design, development, integration, and verification (skills in virtual machines, C#, C++, Java)
- Experience crafting cross-platform .NET backend web applications for cloud deployment
- Familiarity with software development using DevOps pipeline workflows
- Knowledge in any of the following:
- Mission Planning
- Common Weapon Component experience
- Universal Armament Interface (UAI) or Common Flexible Weapon (CFW)
- System performance and CONOPS
- Algorithms and signal processing
- Aerodynamics, Launch Acceptability Regions, Modeling and Simulation (6-DOF)
- Aircraft integration and store interface (MIL STD 1553 and 1760)
- An active and transferable Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance is mandatory before the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a talented team of engineers and analysts to achieve Mission Planning objectives
- Act as the primary resource for mission planning expertise
- Engage in travel to observe flight tests and offer on-site support
- Formulate standardized mission planning solutions across various programs, captures, and IRADs
- Expand a team of mission planning professionals with diverse experiences and skills
- Enhance team proficiency in mission planning methodologies, software development, and tools
- Coordinate efforts with other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), the Program Chief Engineer, and Program Management
- Create capability delivery plans and guide team activities within an agile framework
- Participate actively in mission planning application software development and testing
- Provide mentorship, direction, and foster collaboration and growth for junior engineers.
