Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in RF product and subassembly design, integration, and production support
- Familiarity with analog, digital, and power electronics design, including RF sub-systems and systems engineering
- Active Secret security clearance issued by the U.S. government prior to starting
- Experience as a technical leader on complex subsystems during Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) Phase
- Advanced degree in engineering, mathematics, or physics is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and systems engineering mindset
- Ability to manage multiple disciplines effectively
- Background in designing and troubleshooting electrical subsystems such as antennas and circuit cards
- Experience collaborating across various engineering disciplines and maintaining effective relationships with management, suppliers, and customers
- Proven capability of balancing engineering processes with innovative approaches for rapid development and success
- Experience with missiles or similar complex systems
- Knowledge of mixed signal electronics
- Familiarity with the entire product development lifecycle and proposal development
- Experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) and leading complex trade studies
- Ability to conceptualize and integrate designs into system architectures
Responsibilities
- Support integration and testing of the All Up Round and related subassemblies for SM-6 programs
- Oversee technical aspects of failure investigations
- Engage in component level design and testing reviews
- Perform duties primarily in an office setting, with some work in labs or field environments
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers for capabilities demonstrations
- Execute assignments that may involve design alterations and documentation of subsystem requirements and test plans
- Conduct peer reviews of designs as a subject matter expert
- Prepare and deliver presentations to peers, management, and government stakeholders
- Participate in root-cause investigations for technical issues
- Mentor and guide less experienced engineers within the team
- Potential travel for assignments, including international travel
- Collaborate with higher level management across programs and functions
- Maintain effective connections with customers and suppliers
