Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Embedded C++ Software, Embedded Software Security, Software Architecture Design and Implementation
- Familiarity with embedded Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as Green Hills, Integrity, Wind River VxWorks, or Linux
- Experience in developing complex systems integrating hardware, firmware, and software
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance required prior to start
- Capability to obtain program access post-start
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and debug embedded real-time software within heterogeneous systems involving firmware and hardware
- Collaborate within a cross-disciplinary team to define, enhance, and optimize product concepts, implementations, and testability
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members
- Contribute to proposals and participate in preliminary and critical design reviews
- Ensure embedded software operates reliably toward its intended functions
