Requirements
Must:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Experience with electro-optical systems, imaging systems, system integration, or hardware testing.
- Proficient in system-level integration and verification of intricate hardware.
- Familiarity with test data analysis and interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Direct optical and electro-mechanical alignment and verification of EO imaging subsystems.
- Integrate detectors, optics, electronics, and firmware into functional hardware assemblies.
- Create and implement system-level test plans for development and production programs.
- Design and develop automated test processes and data acquisition tools.
- Examine test results and develop models for performance verification and root-cause analysis.
- Design and maintain test fixtures and support equipment for EO subsystems.
- Diagnose hardware issues at both the component and system levels.
- Assist in production activities, including documentation, process enhancements, and yield improvement.
- Engage in technical reviews and continuous enhancement initiatives.
