Requirements
Must:
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is mandatory prior to the start date.
- U.S. citizenship is essential, as only citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines at a medium-sized enterprise scale, including integration of Java-based applications and scripting in Python or Bash.
- Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining containerized applications using Docker or Helm, with capability in performing application-level debugging in Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) standards across programs.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee CI/CD pipelines to facilitate frequent and reliable software deployments on a medium-sized enterprise scale.
- Build and deploy containerized applications utilizing Docker and Helm; address issues in Kubernetes at the application level.
- Monitor and enhance system performance, uptime, observability, and disaster recovery preparedness in both local and hybrid cloud environments.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and Information Assurance teams to enhance performance and standardize secure DevOps workflows.
- Engage in incident response, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting for CI/CD and deployment pipeline challenges.
- Assess and integrate new tools and technologies to support automation, vulnerability scanning, and secure build methodologies.
