Requirements
Must:
- A University Degree or equivalent experience is typically required
- Less than 2 years of relevant experience in personnel security or related fields
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with software such as JIRA, JADE, DISS, Access Commander, and eSecurity
Responsibilities
- Request and verify the accuracy and completeness of security paperwork from candidates
- Review and process personnel clearance requests for access to classified programs
- Upload Personnel Security Questionnaires (PSQ) into the eSecurity database
- Submit justification for personnel security clearance for eligible candidates
- Enforce federal security regulations relevant to our operations
- Participate in security compliance inspections as needed
- Safeguard employee personal information as per the Privacy Act and applicable government regulations
