Requirements
Must:
- A bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, alongside a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, or an advanced degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- At least seven (7) years of professional experience, which may include:
- Proficiency with project management tools, systems, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and/or Risk and Opportunity Management.
- Experience in proposal or capture efforts.
- Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens qualify for such clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership by spearheading design, development, integration, and testing to fulfill performance objectives.
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations regarding cost, schedule, and technical performance for the designated scope.
- Align and coordinate cross-functional teams (engineers, manufacturing, suppliers, Supply Chain) to collaboratively achieve shared goals, while managing workloads and priorities.
- Offer concise updates on status, technical specifics, potential risks, and solutions to program managers, functional leaders, and clients.
- Create and implement program plans and budgets, managing Estimates-at-Completion (EACs) and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Make subsystem decisions and direct the team, escalating wider impacts to Chief Program Engineers or Program Managers when necessary.
- Collaborate with leads including chief engineers and technical heads to deliver the most cost-effective technical solutions.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities, along with strategies for mitigation and capture.
- Oversee proposal initiatives, negotiations, and reviews for any new scope and potential contract modifications to assure business success and growth.
- This role is on the first shift and is 100% on-site, offering a location in either Tewksbury, MA, or Marlborough, MA.
