Radar Systems Engineer II

- Develop system requirements, radar software specifications, radar processing algorithms, operational concepts, and system interfaces - Create concepts of operations (CONOPS) for radar systems addressing mission necessities - Conduct radar processing algorithm development and statistical/numerical analysis of radar performance data - Design analysis tools for identifying problems, troubleshooting, and evaluating system performance - Formulate and execute test plans, procedures, and verification documentation in both simulated and real environments - Identify and rectify hardware, software, and system issues through meticulous data analysis and debugging - Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to enhance system performance and resolve issues - Build and implement models to forecast system performance for verification and validation tasks - Integrate hardware and software into tactical radar systems while assessing functionality and operational implications - Lead multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective system integration and performance - Produce integration documentation, carry out plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and communicate findings to leadership and stakeholders - Present technical analyses and solutions to leadership and clients - Travel as necessary (up to 20%) to facilitate mission execution at RTX sites, testing locations, vendor facilities, and customer venues - This position can be based either in Marlborough, MA or Tewksbury, MA
