Requirements
Must:
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in automation and scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, and Python
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices and DevSecOps pipelines
- Experience in managing containerized development environments, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Competence in debugging, testing, and maintaining complex development environments
- Knowledge of Configuration Management Tools like ClearCase, Git, and GitLab
Responsibilities
- Facilitate effective communication with executives and stakeholders, aligning technical strategies with business objectives
- Develop and execute operational plans for the RDPL Engineering Team
- Implement functional strategies for CI/CD pipelines and associated development environments
- Monitor and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless delivery
- Swiftly address emergent situations related to pipelines, including off-hours
- Manage priorities efficiently within a fast-paced environment
- Ensure stability of the development environment and common gate tests
- Lead updates to pipelines in accordance with Software Factory and Digital Technology enhancements
- Inspire and manage the RDPL DSO Pipeline team, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement
- Provide solutions to complex technical software issues
- Collaborate with Engineering, Digital Technology, Safety, and Cyber teams to meet shared goals
- Debug and integrate software on Linux and Windows platforms
- Maintain and modernize the development environment using various tools
