Requirements

Must:
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in component obsolescence management methodologies - Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and presentation skills to address system impacts of obsolescence - Experience in project management that involves scheduling, budgeting, and integration of stakeholder needs - Background in Financial and Contract Management including proposals, Basis of Estimates (BOE), Earned Value Management (EVM), Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN), and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL) - Experience with the development and management of Bill of Materials (BOM) for programs - Familiarity with risk and opportunity analysis for sustainment versus redesign decisions

- Understand and/or create program statements of work (SOW) and customer component application requirements - Develop and maintain proactive obsolescence management processes to implement cost-saving solutions - Drive resolutions through lifetime buys, alternative part selections, redesign efforts, and support contract negotiations - Regularly communicate with program and customer leadership regarding the progress of mitigation strategies - Perform trade-off analyses to identify cost-effective options for proposed unit redesigns
