Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8 years of relevant experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start
- Proven experience in System Security Engineering and/or Cybersecurity Engineering
- Familiarity with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to outline SSE requirements, solutions, trade-offs, costs, implementation, impacts, and effectiveness
- Create project plans, estimates, track tasks, report progress, and identify/mitigate risks
- Ensure adherence to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls
- Collaborate with program management on SSE architecture and related issues
- Aid in the formulation of bids and proposals
- Specify security development and testing efforts for various networking devices, databases, OS, and software components
- Integrate cybersecurity development activities
- Develop overarching system requirements and cascade them to subsystems
- Ensure understanding of and compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing requirements
