Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience
- Proficient in systems engineering and integration, focusing on critical design phases through to fielding and material release
- Proven ability to resolve technical challenges through data-driven decision-making
Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team for system design and architecture, reliability, safety, and system testing
- Collaborate consistently with counterparts in the Javelin Joint Venture (JJV), Javelin Project Office (JPO), and other significant stakeholders in the U.S. Government
- Utilize extensive experience in system design, requirements, interfaces, and detail design elements
- Provide critical reviews, feedback, lessons learned, and decision-making for detailed system elements
- Conduct weekly meetings and technical discussions with engineering colleagues in JJV and various U.S. Government organizations
- Mentor and guide team members while engaging with subject matter experts (SMEs)
- Offer daily task leadership including work prioritization and execution
- Identify, analyze, and report risks and opportunities within the project/program
- Assist the program Systems CPT lead in managing cost and schedule, as well as preparing Basis of Estimate (BOE) for future contract initiatives
- Exhibit the principles of The Doctrine of Completed Staff Work while embodying Raytheons values of collaboration and agility
- Be open to periodic travel, potentially up to 10% of the time
