Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field, with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Proficiency in object-oriented software design using C++, C, and familiarity with MATLAB or Python for data evaluation
- Experience in developing or simulating physical systems
- Background in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for engineering solutions
- Previous experience as a Functional or Technical leader in an engineering setting
- Capability to secure an Interim Secret U.S. government issued Security Clearance prior to employment, with U.S. citizenship required for eligibility
Responsibilities
- Develop high-fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and support for flight testing
- Oversee the creation and execution of modeling solutions, conducting trade studies, and evaluating system and subsystem performance
- Collaborate with team members while receiving direction from supervisors, and provide guidance to other engineers as necessary
- Work alongside teams in Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), Signal Processing, and others to execute simulation activities according to project timelines
- Engage in various projects, formulating and implementing strategies and solutions throughout the product lifecycle from concept to deployment
- Deliver technical expertise for specific program simulation products, assist Senior Modeling Engineers with planning, and interact with governmental representatives as a simulation authority
