Requirements
Must:
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to security clearance requirements
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance (DoD Secret) required before start date
- Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or related areas
- Proficiency in systems software, hardware, requirements, integration, and/or testing
Responsibilities
- Develop requirements, algorithms, and operational concepts; define system interfaces
- Create and implement testing strategies, documentation, and procedures in both simulated and real environments
- Identify and troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues using data analysis and debugging techniques
- Collaborate across departments to enhance performance and troubleshoot system problems
- Generate and execute models to anticipate system performance and support validation efforts
- Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, assessing functionality and impact
- Lead and collaborate with a diverse team to ensure effective system integration and performance
- Prepare integration documentation, execute plans, analyze performance data, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Conduct statistical analyses of radar performance data to optimize system efficacy and verify requirements
- Present technical analyses and solutions to leadership and clients
- Travel as required (up to 20%) to support mission operations at various sites
