Requirements
Must:
- Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
- Proficient in developing and integrating software applications using programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, and Visual Basic.
- Experienced in utilizing integrated development environments and debugging tools to resolve software implementation issues and ensure software integrity.
- Familiarity with the Windows Operating System and Microsoft Visual Studio is essential.
- Prior experience with laboratory test instrumentation and electronics, including items like oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is necessary prior to the start date, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate object-oriented software applications utilizing C# and C++ within Microsoft Visual Studio on a Windows Operating System.
- Manage and prioritize multiple engineering tasks simultaneously.
- Troubleshoot software issues and test equipment instrumentation effectively.
- Collaborate within a multidiscipline engineering team environment.
- Develop and clarify requirements for software products.
- Lead and mentor junior software engineers to enhance team capabilities.
