Requirements
Must:
- Must possess an active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance prior to starting work.
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearance.
- A minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience is required.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- Proficient in code design, development, and/or verification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance before commencing employment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and verify motor control embedded firmware for Control Actuation Systems.
- Work with the Controls and Algorithms team to implement digital control algorithms using C/C++.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical design engineers to enhance hardware designs.
- Conduct hands-on hardware and firmware integration and verification testing in a lab setting.
- Mentor and provide guidance to early career engineers.
