Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in developing and integrating applications using programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, or Visual Basic.
- Familiarity with integrated development environments and debugging tools for troubleshooting software implementations.
- Prior experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Visual Studio is essential.
- Background in laboratory test instrumentation, electronics, and software, including tools like oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
- Capacity to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is mandatory for clearance eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate object-oriented software applications in C# and C++ within Microsoft Visual Studio on a Windows OS.
- Manage and prioritize multiple software engineering tasks simultaneously.
- Troubleshoot software applications and test equipment instrumentation as needed.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidiscipline engineering team environment.
- Generate and derive requirements for software products.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior software engineers.
