Requirements

Must:
- We require a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience. - We need proven experience in microwave/RF system, subsystem, or component analysis, design, and testing. - We require a track record of leading analysis and Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, preferably involving supplier and factory-related issues. - We require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance after start date. - We require U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. - We prefer candidates with experience using engineering tools such as Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, CST, Microwave Design Studio, HFSS, or ADS. - We prefer technical strength in areas such as cascade analysis, frequency planning, filter design, circuit card assembly, high-speed data converter characterization, or low-noise RF source design and testing. - We value experience working across both engineering development and production settings. - We prefer candidates with strong technical writing and formal presentation abilities. - We prefer candidates with experience designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost, including yield and margin analysis. - We prefer experience leading and developing a multi-discipline engineering team.

Responsibilities

- We lead technical investigations and resolve design, build, and test issues across Receiver Exciter subsystems, circuit card assemblies, and components. - We perform RF and microwave circuit and subsystem design, modeling, simulation, and verification. - We carry out integration and testing at the component, CCA, and subsystem levels. - We support transition to production and provide technical guidance to manufacturing and test engineers. - We lead small projects and process improvement efforts within our area of responsibility. - We lead design updates for circuit cards and subassemblies to address obsolescence and improve producibility. - We work on-site full time in Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA and may travel between nearby sites, including Andover, MA and Woburn, MA.
