Requirements
Must:
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory to be eligible for a security clearance
- Proven ability to secure and sustain a Secret U.S. government security clearance
- Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with at least 8 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in software design, integration, and testing, particularly with C / C++
- Experience with embedded microprocessor design and system-on-chip software development, including FPGAs and high-speed transceivers
- Background in developing real-time applications on embedded platforms such as bare metal, embedded Linux, or Windows environments
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in fast-paced product development contexts
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and actively engage in collaborative, cross-functional product teams, utilizing agile methodologies
- Lead the development of new technologies and products from architectural design through to integration and testing
- Work closely with other technical teams to create innovative solutions for complex challenges
- Derive software and FPGA interface requirements based on system-level specifications
- Conduct simulations and analyses and perform software testing in a lab setting
- Participate in an advanced product development team environment, collaborating with firmware, electrical, and software engineers
- Address and troubleshoot issues with creative problem-solving approaches
- Travel occasionally for business-related purposes as needed
