Requirements

Must:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) along with at least 8 years of relevant experience. - Proficiency in writing and maintaining Groovy-based CI/CD pipelines. - An active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory before starting. - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens can obtain a security clearance. - Experience in using Jenkins is preferred. - Familiarity with developing and integrating Java-based applications is advantageous. - Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining containerized applications with Docker or Helm is beneficial. - Skills in debugging Kubernetes at the application level are a plus. - Experience managing package repositories like Artifactory or Nexus, including use of Maven, Helm, Docker, or YUM for custom package creation and mirroring. - Scripting capabilities in Bash, Python, or Go are desirable. - Understanding of Agile principles, including Agile systems engineering practices and roles is favorable.

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and oversee CI/CD pipelines to facilitate frequent and reliable software deployment utilizing Jenkins and Groovy. - Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Helm; troubleshoot Kubernetes application-level issues. - Monitor and enhance system performance, uptime, observability, and disaster recovery preparedness in both local and hybrid cloud settings. - Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and IA teams to enhance performance and unify secure DevOps workflows. - Engage in incident response, perform root cause analysis, and resolve issues related to CI/CD and deployment pipelines. - Assess and incorporate new tools and technologies to enhance automation, vulnerability scanning, and secure build practices. - Assist in establishing DevSecOps best practices and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) standards across the program.
