Requirements

Must:
We require that you have an active and transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph before your start date. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for this clearance. A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) is typically needed along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; however, experience may substitute for education. You should also possess DoD 8570 certification or a higher qualification, as well as skills in system administration across Linux systems. Experience in the Intelligence Community (IC) is essential, coupled with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Certifications (RHCT or RHSA). Familiarity with LDAP, NFS, TCP/IP, Splunk, Grafana, and NIS/NIS, and experience in issuing and managing PKI certifications and SQL are also necessary.

Responsibilities

Your primary tasks will include ensuring maximum system availability, conducting system updates and upgrades in coordination with the ISP and support teams, and managing VM-based services to keep the system operational. You will support the development and modification of technical documentation, as well as complete and track lessons learned and metrics.

The role is located at a customer facility in Springfield, VA, with operational hours from Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, including on-call duties one weekend each month. We offer a competitive salary range of $82,000 to $164,000, along with a variety of employee benefits contingent upon the specific business unit you join.
