Responsibilities

In the Senior Java/C++ Software Engineering position, I will be designing, developing, and testing Java, C++, and Python applications within a Linux, Agile, and DevOps environment. My role will involve working closely within our Satellite Ground Systems Team to ensure that our advanced software applications support reliable communication, surveillance, and defense capabilities. My daily tasks will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software solutions for Satellite Ground Systems. - Collaborating with systems engineers, hardware designers, and fellow software engineers to create innovative software components. - Implementing and testing C++ and Java-based applications, along with necessary modifications to existing code. - Working with legacy systems to transition workloads to my new pipelines effectively. - Defining software requirements and specifications in cooperation with cross-functional teams. - Engaging in software design and code reviews, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability in all my work. - Following established software processes for the development, documentation, and management of software engineering products and artifacts.
