Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant STEM field with a minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience.
- Proficient experience in the Agile software development lifecycle, particularly in three or more of the following technologies: C++ data structures and algorithms, C, C++, Python, or other Object-Oriented programming languages.
- Skilled in the integration of real-time software, firmware, and hardware, as well as software test equipment maintenance and software requirements definition.
- Experience in embedded software, embedded software security, or embedded operating systems (e.g., Linux, RTOS, VxWorks), and software architecture design and implementation.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is mandatory before the start date, with the capability to secure program access post-hiring.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop software for Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) facilities, specifically flight simulators for missiles.
- Engage in software design, coding, and integration within a real-time operational framework.
- Analyze system capabilities to understand end user needs and troubleshoot program intent, ensuring that output requirements and input data acquisition are met.
- Create and implement build procedures to facilitate hardware and software product development and utilization.
- Potentially develop company-wide software configuration standards.
- Mentor software developers on the use of configuration management tools and the application of software quality standards, including control modeling.
