Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in building and integrating backend APIs
- Solid understanding of payment systems, particularly 3D Secure authentication flows
- Proficient in cloud engineering and modern distributed application frameworks
- Practical backend development expertise; familiarity with Node.js is preferred, but equivalent backend engineering skills are acceptable
- Capability to work across the tech stack when necessary, especially for UI updates related to payment or authentication processes
- Knowledge of secure authentication practices, and integration among merchant, network, and issuer systems
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve backend integrations facilitating 3D Secure payment authentication processes
- Create and sustain APIs and services utilized in payment processing and issuer authentication interactions
- Engage with payment domain scenarios, including secure transaction flows, redirects, and authentication requirements
- Assist in cloud-native engineering initiatives, focusing on secure service development
- Contribute to user interface and frontend alterations as necessary for 3D Secure user journeys, particularly regarding:
- Redirect processes to issuer pages
- Return procedures from issuer authentication
- Adjustments needed to harmonize existing solutions across North America and Asia-Pacific markets with the current offerings in EMEA
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee compliance, usability, and optimal performance across regional implementations
