Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in operating systems, particularly Windows, with a solid understanding of computer hardware components.
- Experience with VPN configuration and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with LAN setup and management is essential.
- Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Jira or similar project management tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across various operating systems, primarily Windows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to LAN connectivity, VPN access, and help desk inquiries.
- Assist users with setup and configuration of office equipment and peripherals.
- Maintain documentation of IT processes, issues, and resolutions using tools like Jira.
- Implement Group Policy Objects (GPO) to manage user permissions and security settings.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve existing systems and processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users on new technologies and software applications.
