Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a UX Designer, ideally in intranet and SharePoint Online environments.
- Familiarity with various device breakpoints, including mobile, tablet, desktop, and ultrawide monitors.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions for large-scale, global organizations.
- Proficient in SharePoint Online, including insights into its functionalities and constraints from a UX stance.
- Experience with user research techniques, usability testing, and data-informed design decision-making.
- Skilled in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe software, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a capacity to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage time in a contract position.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and IT teams to gather and understand user requirements for intranet and SharePoint Online platforms.
- Design and prototype user interfaces and workflows that enhance usability and engagement across global intranet sites.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and collect feedback to iterate and refine designs.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using industry-standard design tools.
- Ensure designs adhere to accessibility standards and corporate branding guidelines.
- Work closely with developers to guarantee precise implementation of designs.
- Promote best practices in UX design and SharePoint Online usability within the organization.
- Assist in change management and user adoption efforts through clear communication and training materials.
Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced UX Designer to join our team on a contract basis, working remotely but primarily focused on our New York City operations. The selected individual will have a robust background in crafting user-centric intranet solutions, with hands-on experience in SharePoint Online, catering to large global organizations. This role will concentrate on improving the user experience of our internal digital platforms, ensuring they remain intuitive, accessible, and aligned with our business objectives. In addition, we offer a competitive hourly wage of $30.48 - $34.48, along with a comprehensive benefits package based on eligibility.
