UX Designer with Figma and Research Skills

- Lead and implement User-Centered Design (UCD) methodologies from initial discovery through to final delivery - Transform complex functional requirements and user feedback into straightforward, elegant, and user-friendly interfaces using user flows, low- to high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes with Figma - Ensure design choices align with business objectives and user requirements by effectively establishing or enhancing personas, experience journeys, and user flows - Utilize AI-driven workflows to enhance speed and quality, such as in prototyping and design-to-code collaboration - Actively participate in Agile/Scrum teams through sprints, daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives - Conduct preliminary validation of designs and prototypes to identify issues early and minimize rework - Promote uniformity in design system components, UI controls, patterns, and adherence to accessibility best practices - Refine designs based on user feedback and usability insights to provide the optimal user experience - Maintain clear and organized design documentation to facilitate development handoff, including interaction details and accessibility notes - Collaborate with engineering teams to create and implement reusable UI patterns/components, contributing enhancements to common design system assets - Deliver essential product design outputs while scaling reusable UI components and lightweight guidelines for wider adoption across various product teams - May supervise the work of others and serve as a mentor - Present and justify designs and key deliverables to peers and senior stakeholders - Engage in roadmap planning and virtual team collaborations, acting as an advocate for customer experience within our partnerships.
