Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Over 3 years of experience with contemporary MV*/SPA JavaScript frameworks (including Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, RxJS).
- More than 3 years of experience in API Design & Development and Microservices Architecture (Java, REST, NodeJS, Swagger).
- At least 3 years of experience in Responsive & Progressive Modern Web application development.
- Familiarity with Test automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured) for Unit, Integration, and Functional Tests.
- Advocates for Test Driven Development and proficient in Unit testing frameworks such as Jest and Jasmine.
- Hands-on experience with application builds and deployment using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, GitHub, etc.).
- Capability to troubleshoot production issues using various tools like Splunk and Datadog.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated technical design, development, analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
- Committed to continual learning and development with the latest technologies and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, building, and supporting mission-critical enterprise software applications.
- Collaborate with business and product teams to define product solutions.
- Advocate for strong engineering practices and standards.
- Explore new technologies and cloud-based deployments to bring significant value to our business.
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing utilizing Open Source frameworks.
- Proactively lead initiatives for process and technology enhancement.
- Keep abreast of the latest engineering trends and reintegrate them into the team when suitable.
