Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Mathematics
- Over 5 years of relevant job experience, or Masters degree with 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong background in software development and testing
- Familiarity with large solution programs and the DOD domain
- Experience in the Space domain, especially OPIR, is highly valued
- Deep understanding of test methodologies, I&T planning, and debugging
- Proficient with application deployment tools such as Ansible
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD processes using Jenkins or GitLab Runner
- Experience with Junit-Mockito, Apache HTTPD Server, and Spring Boot
- Extensive experience in Unix/Linux environments
- Expertise in Test Automation with tools like Selenium, Test Complete, or similar
- Familiarity with cloud computing and IaaS such as Red Hat OpenStack, Microsoft Azure, or AWS
- Understanding of container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Join a collaborative cross-functional team to design, build, integrate, test, deploy, and enhance software services and platforms
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to ensure quality is incorporated from the start
- Develop and engage in QA/testing methodologies and processes for a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) framework
- Conduct testing on applications through both automated and manual back-end functions, as well as UI assessments
- Validate new features across supported platforms and configurations
- Execute and address automated tests within sprint cycles
- Verify installations through acceptance testing, track bugs, and take part in development meetings
- Adhere to established standards and procedures throughout the software development lifecycle to generate technical engineering outputs
- Foster and enhance our technical culture by being engaged, curious, friendly, and motivated to solve complex challenges
- Participate in internal evaluations of software components and systems

We are seeking a Test Engineer to join our Space, Cyber & Intelligence Engineering Team in a fully remote role. This is a contract-to-perm opportunity with a pay range of $60 - $65 per hour, with work hours from 9am to 5pm.
