Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related field in Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience, or a Masters degree with 6 months of related experience
- Preferred experience in Agile methodologies
- Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, and technical standards
- Familiarity with requirements management and system modeling tools
- Ability to think creatively and quickly adapt to new information and complex responsibilities
- Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for team success
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth for oneself and others
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a cross-functional engineering team to deliver hardware, software, and systems solutions
- Conduct validation, verification, and performance testing of hardware and software in Test & Integration Engineering
- Document, analyze, and manage system requirements in the Requirements Engineering area
- Engage in system modeling, simulations, and design analysis through Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Design, integrate, and troubleshoot hardware systems as part of Hardware-Systems Engineering
Description
We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Maritime & Strategic Systems Engineering team in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This is a Contract to Permanent position with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $45 to $50. Our work hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM.
