Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a coding, testing, and debugging environment, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of application development (integration) experience within the investments or finance sector.
- Proficiency in COBOL, Lifepro, general accounting, and actuarial.
- Familiarity with Visual Basic, SQL, Btrieve, Notepad++, and Gitkraken.
- Working knowledge of DOS, MS Windows, MS Office, and LifePRO.
Responsibilities
- Develops and prepares test data for coding purposes.
- Responsible for coding, testing, and debugging programs.
- Evaluates and updates existing software applications as necessary.
- Documents the procedures utilized for finalized programs.
- Provides regular progress updates on all completed, ongoing, and upcoming projects to management.
- Collaborates with users to formulate effective procedures.
- Analyzes potential system solutions to improve functionality.
- Undertakes on-call support responsibilities when needed.
- Executes other related tasks as assigned.
Description
