Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Kafka platforms, both self-hosted and cloud-based
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
- Ability to develop, enhance, and administer services and platforms
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members
- Proficient in incident management and solution engineering
- Capable of conducting code reviews and developing Proofs-of-Concept
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage Kafka platforms, both on-premises and in the cloud
- Innovate and roll out new services and enhancements to existing systems
- Mentor and guide junior team members to foster skill development
- Offer client support to resolve issues and inquiries
- Engage in incident management for timely resolutions
- Conduct solution engineering for effective platform enhancements
- Create and present Proofs-of-Concept to demonstrate new capabilities
- Review code to maintain quality and performance standards
