Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years of substantial software engineering experience in robotics, autonomous systems, or a closely related domain (or a Masters degree with 6+ years of dedicated experience)
- Advanced proficiency in modern C++ with the ability to design and debug intricate multithreaded applications
- Extensive experience implementing and deploying SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) algorithms using cameras and/or LiDAR
- Strong understanding of applied mathematics and statistics, particularly in 3D spatial mapping and kinematic modeling
- Practical experience with contemporary CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker) for edge deployments
- High-level expertise with Git and collaborative agile development methodologies
- (Preferred) Experience in training, optimizing, and deploying computer vision neural networks
- (Preferred) Familiarity with deep learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch
- (Preferred) Background in Defense or Detection Engineering technologies
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and implement highly efficient real-time algorithms for data ingestion, fusion, and processing from various sensor arrays to facilitate autonomous robotic navigation
- Spearhead the development, maintenance, and scaling of robust CI/CD pipelines for automated dependency provisioning, thorough software testing, and smooth deployment to edge devices
- Design and extend scalable APIs to ensure precise and rapid data transmission across complex, multi-threaded system architectures
