Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a technology-related discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science)
- Over 10 years of experience in back-end technologies: Java, Spring Boot
- Proficiency in databases and infrastructure: Oracle, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS (EKS)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies: JSP, HTML, CSS/SASS, jQuery, and Angular (a plus)
- At least 5 years of experience in supporting web services and APIs
- Skill in writing SQL queries and troubleshooting stored procedures in a SQL Server environment (ETL experience is advantageous)
- Demonstrated experience in developing enterprise-scale applications using Java Spring frameworks and Angular on UNIX/Linux platforms
- Knowledge of DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery practices (Maven, Jenkins, GIT, Docker, etc.)
- Strong understanding of commonly used operating systems, including Linux, Windows, and Ubuntu
- Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Hands-on experience in developing and integrating cloud-based APIs (preferably AWS)
- Excellent collaboration skills with both technical teams and business partners
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to grasp project objectives, use cases, and system design requirements
- Develop original and creative technical solutions
- Deliver high-quality code with extensive test coverage, adhering to company standards and methodologies
- Consider the overall solution while addressing individual business requirements
- Work independently while collaborating with both local and distributed teams
- Share knowledge and expertise with the team to foster growth and learning
Description
We are a company located in Merrimack, New Hampshire, offering a contract position with a competitive pay rate of $75 - 76 per hour, based on experience. Our work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM.
