Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Over 5 years of experience in frontend development with Angular
- Proficient in TypeScript, including generics and strict mode
- Deep understanding of RxJS observables and memory management
- Extensive experience with NgRx state management
- Solid grasp of CSS Grid and responsive design
- Familiarity with Material Design principles
- More than 5 years of backend development experience in Python
- Practical experience with FastAPI, including session management
- Knowledge of SQL and ORM frameworks like SQLAlchemy
- Understanding of AWS services and VPC networking
- Experience in REST API design methodologies
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest
Responsibilities
- Direct architectural choices across the entire stack, including form rendering and service boundaries
- Assist senior developers in evaluating design trade-offs
- Diagnose system-wide bottlenecks in frontend, backend, and infrastructure
- Set standards for cross-language patterns and practices
- Conduct thorough full-stack code reviews focusing on Angular, FastAPI, Terraform, and AWS
- Identify issues during code reviews, providing constructive feedback
- Define and enforce high production quality standards
- Mentor junior developers by pairing on difficult challenges
- Identify skill deficiencies and offer targeted assistance
- Foster opportunities for growth across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
- Articulate architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute insights to discussions about project roadmaps and feasibility
- Ensure clear and successful releases of projects
Description
We are on the lookout for a Lead Software Engineer to spearhead the architectural development of AppGen, our advanced AI-driven application generation platform. This is a contract position located in Charlotte, North Carolina, offering a competitive hourly rate between $80.71 and $90.71. The typical work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM.
