Requirements
Must:
- 6+ years of experience in product management, with a minimum of 2 years focusing on sales operations or incentive compensation platforms (e.g., Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Varicent)
- Capability to convert intricate compensation plan designs into scalable product specifications and data frameworks
- Hands-on experience in delivering AI- or ML-driven product features while collaborating with engineering to assess feasibility and value
- Strong grasp of Generative AI concepts (e.g., RAG, agentic patterns, prompt creation) and their responsible application in enterprise software
- Ability to define and monitor success metrics including accuracy rates, payout cycle times, and seller adoption, to guide investment priorities
- Awareness of the Incentive Compensation Management market, deciding between building, buying, or integrating solutions
- Proven history of managing all stages of a successful product lifecycle
- Collaborate with Change Management and other stakeholders to create training materials and communication strategies for evolving plan structures or tools
- Inspirational leader with experience in guiding strong teams
- Work cross-functionally to define, assess, and analyze procedures for identifying improvement opportunities
- Technical background and comprehension of software development methodologies, including Agile practices and testing techniques
- Proficient in data analysis and performance measurement
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to users with varying expertise
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for presenting to different tiers within a matrixed organization
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Aha!)
Responsibilities
- Foster seamless collaboration between business units and technology for effective product delivery
- Develop a multi-year product vision that clearly articulates value while aligning with the companys strategic objectives
- Advocate for the product vision across the organization and relevant departments
- Define the strategy to achieve broader product visions
- Deconstruct roadmaps into market-ready features and oversee their prioritization and sequencing in line with strategic objectives
- Manage the feature backlog assessing complexity, impact, and alignment with business unit strategies
- Conduct thorough product planning sessions both within their domain and with related teams
- Lead customer research efforts, synthesizing insights to understand potential product opportunities
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of market trends and competitor offerings to inform product roadmaps
- Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria while influencing initiatives across various domains
- Drive progress towards objectives across the broader domain with proactive management of risks and dependencies
- Establish testing strategies and other requirements for acceptance criteria
- Engage across functional teams to ensure issues are efficiently addressed and impacts communicated
- Balance short-term product roadmap deliverables with long-term goals across multiple areas
- Develop a timeline and sequencing plan for features within a product line, accounting for technical and operational constraints while delivering iterative value
Description
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager for Sales Incentive Compensation to join our Product Management team in Seattle, Washington. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and execute Sales Incentive Compensation solutions, while shaping a product roadmap that enhances employee experiences. Our ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Human Resources, Finance, Engineering, and Legal, managing the full product lifecycle. We offer a contract role with competitive compensation ranging from $67 to $77 per hour, with standard working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM.
