Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance
- Proven background in migrating from SAP ECC to S/4HANA
- Techno-functional expertise, knowledgeable in both business processes and technical configurations
- Strong intellectual curiosity and ability to work independently
- Significant experience at a senior level with a solid foundation in business operations
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Alternative qualifications include an Associates Degree plus two years of relevant experience or four years of relevant experience with no post-secondary education
- At least five years of experience in a related role with a Bachelors Degree or three years with a Masters Degree
Responsibilities
- Facilitate business process mapping sessions and evaluate existing workflows, pinpointing areas for enhancement
- Assess costs, benefits, and overall outcomes associated with IT initiatives
- Transform business requirements into comprehensive functional design specifications for developers and system architects
- Oversee small to medium-sized IT projects, managing aspects such as scope, budget, and timelines
- Configure systems according to specific business needs and conduct rigorous testing to ensure integrity and functionality
- Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance on system functionalities, best practices, and problem resolution, while understanding all company tools in use
- Engage actively in continuous improvement efforts, keeping informed about emerging trends and identifying chances to boost IT processes and service delivery
- Carry out all essential job functions with or without accommodation
- Utilize office automation, communication tools, and software effectively in the office environment
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed within the scope of the role
Description
We at Haworth are embarking on a major digital transformation, including our transition to SAP S/4HANA. We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst with a specialization in finance to provide essential support during this intensive project. Our work environment is collaborative, operating in a cross-functional war room setup with a focus on the Waterfall methodology. We welcome individuals who are self-motivated and possess strong business insight combined with practical experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance. This is a contract-to-hire position located in Holland, Michigan, primarily on-site, although we may consider remote work for local candidates.
