Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Duck Creek application development within Policy administration and servicing (DC Claims or Billing experience is not acceptable)
- Experience in manuscript and content development
- Familiarity with software design patterns
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently, as part of a team, and collaboratively with business partners
- Experience in manuscript development, coverage configuration, rating design, rules and workflow implementation, API integrations, and Flagr
- Preferred: Expertise in C#, .NET, front-end scripting languages, and SQL
- Preferred: Background in Commercial Lines Insurance
- Preferred: Knowledge of Lean and Agile methodologies, as well as Git
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in programming and supporting software applications, or
- Completion of a technical training program with 4 years of relevant experience, or
- A Bachelors degree or higher in an Information Technology field with 4 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements for software applications or enhancements
- Develop detailed programming specifications
- Write or modify code for complex software programs, components, or applications
- Conduct development testing and review results
- Support and maintain software programs, components, or applications in a live production environment
- Create and update documentation
- Offer insights and guidance on design or programming best practices to colleagues

We are seeking a Duck Creek Developer contractor to join our IT Commercial Lines team, focusing on transforming our technology stack through Agile and Lean processes. As part of an agile team, youll play a critical role in evolving our platforms across Acquisition, Experience, Product, and Core Servicing functionalities. This role involves innovative projects that positively impact our customers, agents, and employees. The position is fully remote, offered on a contract basis with competitive hourly pay ranging from $58.57 to $68.57. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and 401K plans, contingent on eligibility.
