Requirements
Must:
- At least 7 years of comprehensive experience in project management from design to production
- Proficient in data engineering and analytics tools, particularly Databricks, Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, and AWS
- Experienced in designing and implementing data mesh and lake solutions focusing on data ingestion, validation, and orchestration within AWS
- Familiarity with establishing and enforcing data quality standards, governance policies, and management best practices
- Subject matter expertise across various solution patterns
- Strong strategic thinking and advanced knowledge of emerging technologies
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
- High emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a diverse team across the Federal Reserve System using the Scaled Agile Framework to provide iterative value
- Engage in hands-on technical analysis and troubleshooting of complex integrated systems in a cloud-hosted environment
- Design and develop data mesh and lake solutions, ensuring efficient data ingestion, validation, and orchestration
- Create reusable patterns for data management and integration, and review during architectural boards
- Offer technical guidance to the data engineering team regarding best practices with the core technology stack
- Work with cross-functional delivery teams to architect scalable data and analytics solutions that yield measurable business impact
- Enforce data quality standards, governance policies, and best practices in data management
- Optimize data pipelines and queries, enhancing overall system performance
- Identify and address risks in data engineering, ensuring security and compliance
- Lead and facilitate discussions regarding future architectural directions
Description
We are excited to announce an opening for a Sr. Solution Data Architect role that will be 100% remote, offering a long-term contract engagement. In this role, you will help us implement and manage data products, particularly contributing to the modernization of our data management processes through the Common Data Platform (CDP). This project is pivotal in creating a cloud-based, end-to-end data management solution that enhances user experience and reduces costs within the Federal Reserve System.
