Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering or a related field (Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics)
- 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Masters degree with 6 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in complex technical contracts
- Experience with SysML/UML tools, particularly MagicDraw
- Familiarity with DOORS, MATLAB, Jira, and Agile methodologies
- Strong background in Requirements Flow-down & Traceability
- Skills in System Architecture and integration
- Ability to drive system-level requirements down to design and test levels
- Experience working on complex programs with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Proven understanding of systems engineering strategies and principles
- Ability to establish and present strategies to internal and external stakeholders
- Experience supporting failure investigation initiatives
Responsibilities
- Analyze, define, and manage requirements for advanced systems
- Conduct functional and performance analysis for ruggedized electronics equipment
- Contribute to system architecture, design, and integration efforts
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team for mission solutions supporting the U.S. Navy
- Drive the technical design and production success of projects
- Present strategies and plans to various stakeholders
- Support failure investigation activities as needed
Description
We are seeking a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer to join our Undersea Mission Systems Engineering Team in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. This position is a Contract to Permanent role, offering a competitive hourly wage of $75 to $85. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on cutting-edge technological projects, where your skills will directly impact our programs success.
