Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies
- Strong understanding of structured development, testing, and production environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project or similar tools
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with test management and testing tools, such as HP ALM (Quality Center) or equivalent is a plus
- Self-motivated with the ability to inspire and guide others
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Capability to identify opportunities for enhancing operational efficiencies
- Experience in project management with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Participate in diverse development projects, ensuring timely and effective testing and implementation to satisfy management and user needs
- Employ standard testing methodologies, executing test scripts, test cases, and ad hoc testing while also tracking and reporting defects
- Utilize best practices to guarantee the delivery of quality products that meet client specifications with minimal defects, on time and within budget
- Adhere to established quality assurance milestones for projects, executing necessary activities to ensure compliance
- Engage in requirements gathering, design reviews, and the creation of detailed testing scripts and test cases
- Assist in coordinating and executing multi-phase testing efforts, including integration, system, performance, and user acceptance testing, while conducting ongoing regression testing across multiple applications and systems
- Maintain testing databases and carry out defect tracking and regression testing to meet testing requirements
- Report test results by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, summarizing, and visualizing data
- Develop and organize the Test Plan/Strategy for designated testing efforts
- Document issues and track their status in designated systems and tools
- Organize and delegate testing assignments within the team, ensuring deadlines are met
