Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within the financial sector.
- Proficient in ALM Octane for managing test cases and tracking defects.
- Skillful in developing and executing automation scripts using Selenium in a Java environment.
- Experienced in writing SQL queries for backend data validation and preparing test data.
- Background in testing consumer or commercial banking applications, such as deposits, payments, or ATM functionalities.
- Strong communication skills for clear reporting and effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be local to Charlotte, NC and available to work 100% onsite (5 days a week).
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive end-to-end manual User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for commercial banking and deposit systems.
- Engage in physical ATM lab testing to validate hardware-software interactions and transaction flows.
- Execute backend validation using SQL queries to ensure data integrity and accuracy of transactions.
- Document and track detailed defects with reproduction steps and logs throughout their resolution in ALM Octane.
- Assist in crafting detailed test plans and summarizing UAT findings.
- Develop, refine, and manage automation test scripts leveraging Selenium with Java.
- Use ALM Octane on a daily basis for test management, executing scripts, and updating the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Convert functional requirements into Gherkin syntax to support Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) with Cucumber.
- Integrate automated tests into existing CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot any script failures.
- Research system features and technical specifications to align automation coverage with business objectives.
- Participate in Sprint planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Defect Triage meetings.
- Collaborate with Developers and Business Analysts to clarify requirement ambiguities.
- Ensure testing activities comply with enterprise risk and compliance standards in financial services.
