- Serve as a senior developer and technical leader for the QIS technology platform, contributing directly to the core codebase. - Design, create, and uphold efficient, scalable, and robust services that support the creation, lifecycle management, reporting, and hedging of QIS products. - Improve, maintain, and restructure a highly efficient, scalable, and resilient service for handling and caching market data services. - Take ownership of architecture and design decisions across a multifaceted, multi-service platform, ensuring alignment with business growth and performance expectations. - Collaborate closely with front office, quantitative analysts, trading, and risk teams to comprehend requirements, tackle critical questions, and resolve high-impact production challenges. - Lead and participate in the execution of strategic projects, from requirements gathering and design through to implementation, testing, and deployment. - Identify and pursue opportunities for platform redesign, refactoring, and modernization to enhance scalability, latency, reliability, and developer efficiency. - Implement best practices in software engineering, including code quality, testing, observability, and operational excellence.

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) Technology team located in Jersey City, New Jersey. This contract role involves working on a large-scale technology platform that underpins the creation, calculation, lifecycle management, reporting, and hedging of over 1,000 live Equities QIS products. Our platform utilizes a distributed, service-oriented architecture designed for high performance, scalability, and reliability. We offer a competitive pay range of $70 - $80 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401K plan, subject to eligibility.
