Requirements
Must:
- Associate degree
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role
- Strong understanding of product management principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision and strategy, leading the complete product lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond, aligning efforts with business objectives and market needs
- Manage the product backlog by creating, prioritizing, and maintaining it to ensure development teams have a clear understanding of requirements
- Write concise user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring they are precise and ready for the development process
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including customers and business leaders, to gather insights, provide updates, and align expectations
- Participate in sprint planning to help clarify priorities and goals with the team and review completed user stories at the end of sprints
- Promote a user-centric approach by understanding end-user needs and pain points, particularly within the prior authorization process
- Evaluate the product development process continually and implement best practices for improvements
- Adapt effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with shifting priorities
Description
We are an Enterprise Healthcare client seeking a motivated Product Owner to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a telecommute position on a contract basis, offering a salary between $25 and $29 per hour. Our work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM. We provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401K plan, subject to eligibility.
