Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field - Over 7 years of substantial hands-on experience with ODI, Oracle Data Warehouse, Oracle PL/SQL, Linux, Python scripting, and ODI administration (including agent setup, log configuration, and certificate installation) - Proven experience in creating PL/SQL queries for Oracle Server, including stored procedures and functions, with a solid understanding of basic data modeling principles - Strong collaborative and communication abilities, especially under pressure - Familiarity with Python and Linux scripting, as well as networking fundamentals (API, IP/ports, SFTP/FTP connectivity) - Advanced skills in development practices including unit testing, CI/CD, code refactoring, and writing clean code - Experience with Bitbucket and GIT for source control management - Strong problem-solving aptitude, capable of identifying potential risks and addressing them proactively - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot applications using logs effectively - Proactive mindset coupled with excellent communication skills - Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira

Responsibilities

- Develop ODI mappings, interfaces, packages, procedures, scenarios, topology configurations, ODI agent setups, and load plans to seamlessly integrate data from various enterprise systems - Create performant PL/SQL queries and procedures while managing data loading processes that adapt to the dynamic requirements of diverse applications - Design, develop, and sustain ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) - Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including data engineers, DBAs, analysts, and business stakeholders to comprehend requirements and provide effective solutions - Monitor and resolve issues within RMJ jobs, ODI workflows, sessions, agents, and data pipelines running in Linux environments - Conduct root cause analysis for failures linked to ODI workflows, RMJ jobs, network issues, API integrations, and file transfers - Enhance ETL workflows to bolster reliability, performance, and scalability - Leverage scripting and automation tools for data processing and operational workflows - Operate within Linux/Unix environments, utilizing command-line tools and shell scripts for task automation and troubleshooting - Keep detailed documentation of data processes, configurations, and best practices - Engage in program specification reviews, source code assessments, and technical documentation evaluations, providing feedback as per team standards - Support the implementation of changes, enhancements, and new program developments - Undertake technical research, offer insights, build proofs of concept or prototypes, and contribute to the design of applications - Identify coding patterns and anti-patterns while ensuring adherence to best practices through code reviews - Address issues faced by business units in the production environment promptly, maintaining a supportive approach while conducting root cause analyses, technology evaluations, and performance optimizations
