Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of MarkLogic architecture, including its indexing and search mechanisms.
- Proficiency in XQuery, XPath, and XSDs.
- Experience with XML and JSON data modeling, data ingestion, and transformation processes.
- Ability to thrive in an agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain APIs in MarkLogic to facilitate business operations and meet data retrieval requirements.
- Leverage XQuery and XPath capabilities to enhance data retrieval and manipulation efficiency.
- Engage with stakeholders to collect and assess requirements for new APIs and data models.
- Provide production support, address issues, and improve performance of the MarkLogic database and APIs.
- Produce reports and insights utilizing corb.
Description
We are looking for a MarkLogic Developer with 6-8 years of experience to design and implement APIs to enhance our business operations using MarkLogics XQuery and XPath functionalities. This contract position allows for telecommuting and offers a pay range of $70 - $75 per hour for work hours from 9 AM to 5 PM.
