Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or AIS required
- At least 10 years of professional experience
- Minimum 5 years in developing system software across diverse, multi-platform environments
- Expertise in Bourne/Bash and Expect scripting languages
- Proficient in troubleshooting Linux kernel issues, including source code examination, system logs, and utilizing tools like crash and systemtap
- Experience managing Satellite repositories for patch application and custom kernel creation
- Knowledgeable in automation for system configuration and maintenance using Ansible and Satellite Server
- Familiar with identity management systems, including LDAP and token-based authentication systems
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Linux Administrator Subject Matter Expert for support teams
- Support our Centralized SuperComputing Facility (CSCF) and High Performance Computing projects
- Collaborate with teams across various contracts to ensure effective operations
- Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of system issues as they arise
- Implement and manage security patches and custom kernel builds as necessary
- Automate configuration and maintenance tasks to enhance efficiency
- Work with identity management systems to ensure secure access
