Requirements
Must:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical abilities and data evaluation skills
- Capability to document intricate business processes and manage various client requests
- Experience in executing functional test cases to monitor feature/requirement status
- Proficiency in Excel, Visual Basic, and Macros within Excel
- Expertise in Business Process Automation using Power Automate
- Skilled in implementing business processes utilizing C#
- Significant experience in web scraping for gathering business data from public websites
- 3 to 4 years of experience in business automation processes
- A BS/BA degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus
Responsibilities
- Collect information from diverse sources and critically analyze business and technical requirements, resolving conflicts, and converting high-level details into specific needs
- Assess complex business processes to define the scope of work
- Document business requirements following process methodology, ensuring complete descriptions and acceptance criteria are recorded
- Collaborate actively with both internal and external stakeholders to analyze necessary information for developing functional and technical requirements
- Design and record functional specification requirements, including Graphical User Interface (GUI) designs and system data flow diagrams
- Revise and present functional and technical requirements to the business team
- Create and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements following the established acceptance criteria
- Generate and confirm process support documents that detail delivered features and enhancements for knowledge transfer and application support
- Prioritize requirements for implementation based on feedback from business participants
Description
We are seeking a dedicated contractor for our Energy Management (EM) Commodity Operations team to review, enhance, and automate existing processes. Our department handles the strategic planning and operational oversight of the companys energy supply and demand portfolio, operating at the intersection of energy markets and sustainability, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position will be based in New York, New York, offering a full-time contract with a competitive hourly wage of $50 to $53.
